The Steelers won a thrilling week 1 game vs the Bengals but not without some major repercussions.

In what seems to be a serious injury, TJ Watt had to come out of the game late in the 4th quarter and could be seen saying “I tore my pec” from the sidelines.

It was the last minuets of the game when Watt went down after tackling Bengals QB Joe Burrow and proceeded to go straight to the locker room.

He will reportedly undergo scans on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. If the diagnosis is true and the pec is torn this could very well be a season ending injury for Watt.

Running back Najee Harris also suffered an injury in the 4th quarter of the game, limping off the field with speculation of a foot sprain that he dealt with in preseason camp.

TJ Watt is the main anchor of the Steelers defense after coming off an incredible 22.5 sack season a year ago.
