For Jim Harbaugh and Michigan, this might make the loss of Xavier Worthy sting a little less.
A few days after losing one of the top wide receivers in the class of 2021, the Wolverines landed one of the top wide receivers in the class of 2022, four-star Tyler Morris out of Nazareth Academy in Illinois.
Morris, ranked 10th in his class among receivers and 80th overall according to 247 Sports, committed to Michigan Tuesday over the likes of Notre Dame and Penn State. He had an offer from every Big Ten school except Ohio State and Indiana.
"After much thought, I am excited to announce that I will further my education and football career at the University of Michigan! #GoBlue," Morris said on Twitter.
Morris becomes the second highest-ranked recruit in Michigan's 2022 class, behind five-star CB Will Johnson.
