Saturday brought the worst loss of Jim Harbaugh's career for the University of Michigan when the team fell to Michigan State, according to Mike Valenti.
Harbaugh could coach for another 30 years and nothing would top it.
Even worse, Valenti said, is the way the local media refuse to hold Harbaugh accountable for his lack of key wins. "You just went out and lost to a coach who had no off-season," he said about Harbaugh, adding that the guy he lost to "has a three-year rebuild in front of him."
He called the local media, "low rent propaganda" that is "bought and paid for" and compared local sports reporters and pundits to the Kremlin in Moscow. "We are dealing with a level of dishonesty both locally and nationally with media that I don't know that there's a comparison to," Valenti said.
In sum, Valenti said Jim Harbaugh should no longer be the Wolverines coach, but the media won't admit it. "Your coach is a bum," he said. "Your coach is an overrated mess."
And if you tuned in for the 2 p.m. show open for a money shot, here it is.
"We tried to tell them. I tried to explain to you guys," Valenti said. "'Look man, this season ain't real. You probably got to settle down on the rhetoric a little bit ... Here's the funny part: Wolverine fans, you've got a little bit of a Sophie's choice ... If you're a Michigan fan you've got two choices, you can either come to my side of things and you can kiss my Italian ass with both lips passionately and say 'You're right Mike this isn't real, I'm sorry, it doesn't count, it doesn't count. You told me it was real, you lambasted me that it was real. You basically told me to throw myself off a bridge and kill myself. It's real. You had lots of nice things to say over the last week.
"If it's real then I invite you to open your mouth, slide your tongue to the side and let me gently slide this L right into your mouth."
