Viral video shows riders stuck on sinking boat at Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KNX) – A viral TikTok revealed riders on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Disneyland had to be rescued after the ride stopped and the boat began to sink.

The video, posted by user justnjames_ on Saturday and has amassed 1.5 million views, had the caption, “POV: You’re stuck on the pirates ride @ Disneyland and your boat is literally sinking.” The video contained riders stuck on the water track before another clip revealed water at the bottom of the boat.

The creator also revealed that the Disney Fire Department came to the rescue and had riders walk the plank to safety.

In the comment section, the creator said they were given “some $30 vouchers for socks and single lightning lanes.”
