(670 The Score) It didn’t take long into 18-year-old Blackhawks phenom Connor Bedard’s second career NHL game for him to record his first goal in the league.
Bedard recorded his first NHL goal 5:37 into the first period against the Bruins on Wednesday evening. Bedard scored it on a wraparound after he regained control of the puck just seconds after firing a shot from the right side. It gave the Blackhawks an early 1-0 lead.
Bedard was impressive in his NHL debut Tuesday, recording an assist in Chicago’s 4-2 comeback win at Pittsburgh. He constantly pressured the Penguins, firing 11 shots, with five of them on goal.
