This cat showed one coyote who's boss when he jumped out from the side of a car.
Video obtained by the Port Moody Police of Port Moody, Canada showed a rare sight when a coyote was scared off by the mere sight of a small, stray black cat hiding beside a car.
In the clip, viewers can spot the coyote pretty quickly, lurking around a lone car in a parking lot. Out of nowhere, a small, black cat emerges from beside the car, frightening the coyote into a sprint.
The cat wasn't going to let him get away that easy, though. The cat continued to chase the coyote out of the parking lot and ultimately, out of sight.
The Port Moody Police posted the clip to their Twitter page, writing, "The things our patrol officers see at 4am... cat 1, coyote 0."
The clip quickly gained over 1,000 likes on Twitter and nearly 300 retweets.
According to police, the black cat "was seen doing its rounds in the parking lot" early the next morning, unfazed by the encounter with the animal that could have easily attacked him.
