Angel Hernandez was once again the subject of controversy after Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber went ballistic on him at the end of a 1-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday night.

Schwarber tossed his bat in anger and provided an animated display as he scolded Hernandez for his strike zone after being punched out on a ball that appeared to miss the outside corner.

But Schwarber was not the only one to tell Hernandez how they really feel.

Following the game, some Phillies fans were outside of Citizens Bank Park as Hernandez left the stadium and one fan captured himself on video telling Hernandez off as the umpire drove away.

Hernandez seemed to enjoy it, though, cracking a smile as he looked at the fan out the window of his car.

An account that rates umpires across baseball ranked Hernandez, who is often criticized by players and fans, as having missed 19 calls and was the lowest rated umpire of the day.

But it doesn’t seem as if Hernandez minds as he drove out into the night with a smile on his face.
