The sit-down will mark the first national TV interview involving any of the 20-plus women who claimed in a series of civil lawsuits that Watson sexually harassed or assaulted them during private massage sessions, the network said.

In the report, the women "detail the alleged abuse they suffered and share their reactions to Watson’s record-breaking $230 million contract with the Cleveland Browns," according to a press release.

The alleged victims will be interviewed by former CNN host Soledad O'Brien.

Watson was not charged after two separate criminal investigations, in Harris and Brazoria counties in Texas. Grand juries were impaneled and declined to indict in both cases.

He has since been traded by the Houston Texans to the Browns, signing a record extension soon after arriving in Cleveland.

Meanwhile the civil lawsuits, which preceded the criminal cases, remain unresolved.

Proceedings are underway, though, keeping the disturbing story and surrounding controversy at the fore.

Watson recently testified at a pre-trial deposition about a massage that ended with the therapist crying and Watson later apologizing via text, according to court transcripts.

The three-time Pro Bowler is also facing a separate NFL investigation and the looming specter of potential disciplinary action.

On Friday, it was reported that the league wants to meet with Watson again following a meeting last week.
