Places to eat in San Diego - Fan Approved with Rich Herrera.
This week we travel to Little Italy to try RoVino on Kettner St in Little Italy.
It's a place built by locals for locals in Little Italy in San Diego. The restaurant is based on food, family, and faith and they hit the mark on all three. We visited last week and were really impressed. Chef David Leon prepared two dishes that blew us away. First Polpo Allagriglia which is an octopus dish with a chicken wing twist that was so unique we have been talking about it for days. They also made us one of their house specialties Carne Miste, served on a carving board with a half roasted chicken, sausage, and steak skewers with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. It serves two but was big enough to feed our entire table.
RoVino is located at 2034 Kettner Blvd, San Diego CA, 92101 619-269-9341. You can use
