Get down and dirty with dad when you dive elbow deep into a bag of steamed Crawfish at Saskas 2nd annual Father’s Day Crawfish Broil. Party starts at 3 p.m. Tickets start at $25 a person.
Hit 10 Barrel Brewery this Sunday and treat dad to a hoppy Father’s Day and BBQ feast. $20 gets you two meat choices and two sides. Wash down the ribs with a cold beer and a round of shuffleboard.
The BBQ at Hotel Del is a full-on event that opens with a sky diving event and culminates in a show from the Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band. Proceeds from the BBQ will benefit veterans. Veterans can also expect a steep discount on tickets! General admission: $75. Veterans and active military: $35 (two tickets with military ID.)
This one goes out to the car junkies out there – 200 classic cars to drool over, live music, corn hole, brunch and draft beers on the boardwalk. Even better, it’s a free event.
Hit the high seas with dad when you climb aboard one of the tall ships housed at the Maritime Museum. Starting Saturday and through Father’s Day, families are invited to embark on a three-hour sail across the San Diego Bay, complete with lunch and a beer (soft drinks for the teetotalers and young scallywags.) Tickets range from $99 for adults to $25 for young children.
Give your dad the gift of beer this weekend at the San Diego County Fair. The beer festival runs Friday through Sunday and includes unlimited 1 oz. samplings of hundreds of beers! Tickets start at $60 and include admission to the fair. Not drinking? Designated drivers and family members can enter the festival free!
Hey rebel, rebel, this Father’s Day brunch celebrates the free-wheelin’ biker dads out there. It includes a fully catered brunch, omelet station, pancake bar, and bottomless mimosas. RSVP with your dad’s t-shirt size and score him a custom Harley Davidson t-shirt. This is a full-on family affair with bouncy houses, face painters and more to keep the kids as happy as dad this Sunday.
Kick it jazz style with your dad at the Westgate Hotel, Sunday, where they’ll be serving up a swanky, award-winning brunch with the Charlie Arbelaez Quartet playing tableside. Each father will also be treated to a unique Westgate beer pint. Tickets are $75 for adults and $35 for children (age 4-12.)
