San Diego’s only accredited big cat and bear sanctuary Lions, Tigers, & Bears in Alpine just entered its 20th year as a safe haven for abandoned and abused animals – the lucky ones who have been rescued and live a life as the wild animals they are. Both children and adults can observe the over 60 lions, tigers, bears, leopards, bobcats and farm animals in their habitats on a two-hour guided educational visit of the sanctuary to learn about the importance of ending the exotic animal trade.

Bobbi Brink, Founder and Director of Lions Tigers and Bears, explains the difference she sees in the animals' behavior once they come to live at the sanctuary.
