Cardinals dual threat Kyler Murray boasts exactly 332,624 Twitter followers. That’s nothing to sneeze at, though Murray’s follower count fell by one when teammate and fellow Pro Bowler Chandler Jones decided to unfollow him.
Jones, who leads Arizona in sacks (9.5), forced fumbles (five) and tackles for loss (12), had been waiting for the third-year quarterback to follow him back, but after months of being snubbed, the stud pass-rusher returned the favor by unsubscribing from Murray’s feed.

“It’s actually funny that you brought up Kyler and social media because yesterday I just unfollowed him on Twitter,” Jones announced during Tuesday’s media availability. “I had asked him to follow me back a while ago and he didn’t follow me back, so I just unfollowed him yesterday.”
Murray follows 358 Twitter accounts including Cardinals teammates Christian Kirk, Justin Pugh, DeAndre Hopkins and Isaiah Simmons, but not Jones, a slight the 31-year-old appears to be taking personally. Fortunately, Jones’ feud with Murray didn’t seem to affect team morale Sunday at Dallas with the Cardinals shrugging off a three-game losing streak to beat the Cowboys 25-22. That moved Arizona to 11-5 on the year, the Cardinals’ best record since 2015, which was also the last time they qualified for the postseason.
