Some thoughts are better kept inside... but one from John Kruk on Monday certainly wasn't one of those.

With two outs in the seventh inning, home plate umpire Brian O'Nora wiped down home plate as an umpire typically does when it gets a little bit too dusty for his and the players' liking. But seeing as the camera was focusing on Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto, we got a somewhat interesting glimpse of O'Nora, and Kruk couldn't restrain himself from commenting on what he saw.

O'Nora sound familiar? That may be because he was recently arrested in a human trafficking sting along with 13 other men, though he pleaded not guilty to a pair of misdemeanor solicitation charges against him (via Tom Schad of USA Today).

Kruk also has a personal connection to O'Nora — sort of, as is the case with most MLB players and an umpire who called their games — seeing as the two got in an argument at the end of Kruk's career. It resulted in Kruk's ejection, and it was on the same night that the three-time All-Star informed his then-manager Terry Bevington that he planned on retiring (via Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune).

Kruk also said that O'Nora was "lucky he didn't get hit" for calling him a profane name during the argument, though Kruk avoided any suspension as he didn't actually touch O'Nora (via Sullivan).

But that's just a fun little history lesson for you, as there's almost no way Kruk dropped his funny comment regarding O'Nora due to any personal vendetta. The MLB fan base that seems to have more of a bone to pick that O'Nora is that of the Mets, if Twitter was any indication.
