I'm set to give the best man speech at my brother's wedding next summer, and I'm simultaneously very relieved and kind of bummed that Travis Kelce won't be there on stage with me. I'm bummed he won't be there because... well, it's Travis Kelce. Who wouldn't want him at a wedding? And having him constantly hype me up and supplement my speech with some pure and unadulterated energy would definitely add to the effect.
At the same time, however, I don't know if I could pull off a speech with Kelce there. One, I might not be able to get a word out. Two, I'd probably keep laughing. And three, I'm not sure he fits the mood at a sentimental wedding ceremony. All three of those potential issues are quite clear thanks to a clip posted on social media from TE University, the brainchild of Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen.
In advance, we forgive you if you don't quite recall what the last two members of that trio had to say to the aspiring star tight ends around them. Kelce, as usual, stole the show.
I can be that charismatic. I can be that loud, and I can be ready to interject to add some excitement. All it would take is about 10 drinks and then I might be able to approach the natural energy that Kelce generates.
You can't ask for a much better "professor" at a university, either. He's entertaining as heck, as the video above shows, and he's also about as dominant a player that the tight end position has ever boasted. Fresh off his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season — no other tight end in league history has done that — this teacher's at the top of his game, and he's hoping to allow others to become the same.
With that said, All-Pro talent Kittle and three-time Pro Bowler Olsen are pretty damn good instructors in their own right.
