
Tuesday on The John Kentera Show was another heartfelt show. This time remembering the great Marty Schottenheimer who passed away earlier in the morning at the age of 77.
Schottenheimer spent the final stop on his NFL Head Coaching career right here in San Diego and touched many San Diegans lives and brought the San Diego Chargers at that time out of the doldrums of mediocrity.
Tuesday's show was filled with the people that knew Marty the most during his time here in San Diego starting with Jim Steeg. Jim Steeg, who worked with Marty Schottenheimer in the San Diego Chargers organization and knew Marty as a friend as well, joined the John Kentera Show to share some stories about Marty after his passing. Jim has stories about the fallot with AJ Smith and the Chargers organization. Steeg also talks about the time that Schottenheimer hijacked Jim's honeymoon.

Bernie Wilson from the Associated Press joined the John Kentera Show to talk about his time covering Marty Schottenheimer when he was the Head Coach of the San Diego Chargers. Bernie goes on to explain the infamous story about the Marty-ball pool that he had with Jay Paris during Charger press conferences.
