A blockbuster trade involving Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson could be in the works, according to multiple reports.

Watson would be joining the Miami Dolphins as part of a three-team deal also involving the Washington Football Team, according to Coty M. Davis of Texans Wire.

As part of the exchange, the Football Team would receive Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Davis reported.

Separately, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported that the Texans and Dolphins have recently intensified their on-and-off trade talks regarding Watson, with a deal possibly getting done as soon as this week and no later than the Nov. 2 deadline.

Watson, 26, has been inactive for all of the Texans' games so far this season, after he was accused of sexual misconduct and assault in an explosive series of civil lawsuits filed in the offseason. The allegations are being investigated by authorities as well as the NFL.

Despite Watson's inactive status on game days, he has been collecting his salary after reporting to camp and continuing to work out.

The Texans were said to be seeking at least three first-round draft picks and several second- and third-rounders in exchange for Watson, a three-time Pro Bowler drafted 17th overall by Houston in 2017.

Watson has a full no-trade clause and would have to approve any deal, though he was previously reported to be interested in joining Miami.
