Former NFL head coach and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan didn't mince words during the four-letter network's halftime coverage of Saturday evening's Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos matchup.

With the Chiefs down 14-10 to the Broncos, Ryan pushed back on colleague Steve Young's December assessment that the 2021 Chiefs are "more dangerous today than they've ever been:"

"...and, I have to say this: for the comment that this is the best Kansas City team that they've ever seen ... Steve Young, I respect him, but I totally disagree. I've watched every game that this team has played this year, there's not one team left in the AFC playoff picture that's afraid of this football team. You could never have said that before, when this team was rolling."

After losing 34-31 to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17, the Chiefs need a win or tie against the Broncos and the Tennessee Titans to lose to the Houston Texans Sunday to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
