SDFC extends head coach Mikey Varas

Following a breakthrough inaugural season that saw San Diego FC win the Western Conference and make the playoffs, the club has extended the contract of its head coach Mikey Varas. Prior to joining SDFC, Varas coached the 2023 United States FIFA U-20 World Cup, and served as interim head coach of the US Men's National Team while it searched for Gregg Berhalter's replacement.
