The Padres lost to the Dodgers 11-2 on Tuesday night behind another subpar outing from Michael Wacha, who allowed 7 earned runs in just 4 innings of work. The Dodgers opened the scoring on a sac-fly from Max Muncy in the 1st, followed by a 2-run homer from Freddie Freeman in the 3rd inning. David Peralta drove in the 4th run of the game on a fielder's choice in the same inning. Will Smith blew the game wide open with a 3-run blast in the 4th, giving the Dodgers a 7-1 lead, and putting the game well out of reach for the Friars. The Padres will have an opportunity to win the series when they send Blake Snell to the mound on Wednesday night.
