Keith Law ranks Padres farm system 15th

Keith Law has released his annual farm system rankings on The Athletic, and the Padres have dropped eight spots from last year, down from #7 to #15. Law attributes the drop from the top overall spot for several years to the middle of the pack to the organization using much of its prospect capital to trade for established players such as Yu Darvish, Blake Snell, Joe Musgrove and Austin Nola. The Padres do still have some intriguing prospects, including CJ Abrams, Robert Hassell III, MacKenzie Gore and Luis Campusano.
