San Diego State athletics held press conferences for men's basketball head coach Brian Dutcher, football head coach Brady Hoke, and women's basketball head coach Stacie Terry-Hutson on Monday afternoon at Fowler Athletics Center.
Dutcher discussed his team's performance at the Maui Invitational. The Aztecs beat Ohio State, but lost to then-ranked #14 Arizona and #9 Arkansas to finish the tournament. After being ranked #24 in the latest AP Top-25 poll earlier today, San Diego State hosts UC Irvine at Viejas Arena tomorrow evening at 7 p.m.
Hoke addressed the media following his team's 13-3 loss to Air Force on Saturday evening at Snapdragon Stadium. Earlier today, the Aztecs accepted an invitation to the Hawaii Bowl. San Diego State will play Middle Tennessee on December 24.
Terry-Hutson, along with senior forward Yummy Morris, spoke with the media following their team's 6-1 start to the season. Morris was named Mountain West Player of the Week earlier today, after scoring 19 points in San Diego State'w win against Seattle University on Friday. The Aztecs look for a seventh straight win at UC San Diego tomorrow at 5 p.m.
