University of San Diego Volleyball Head Coach Jennifer Petrie joined the John Kentera Show to talk about the Toreros being ranked #2 in the country at this point of the season.
Coach Petrie talks about growing up here in San Diego and how fortunate she is to be coaching at the D1 level in her hometown. She also discusses the success the program has had, and what makes San Diego Volleyball always one of the top programs in the country year in and year out.
San Diego has two home games left in the regular season coming up with a 7pm start on Thursday (Nov 10) against St. Mary's then Senior day at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Saturday (Nov 12) against Pacific. The Toreros will then finish their season on the road against LMU, Pepperdine and #18 BYU. San Diego is in the hunt to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament.
