Beyoncé making history isn’t a strange concept, in fact we’re very used to it by now. So it should come as no surprise to learn that thanks to her latest album, COWBOY CARTER, she’s done it again.

With the latest addition of 23 out of the 26 songs from the album charting on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated April 13), Beyoncé upped her career total of charting hits from 85 entries to an impressive 106. This officially enters the superstar into the 100 Hot 100 Hits Club, making her the 17th artist, and only the third woman, to do so since the chart’s inception in 1958.

Contrastingly, making history for the first time, is the artist's youngest daughter Rumi Carter, whom, at only 6 years old, is now the youngest-charting female to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Thanks to her guest appearance on the COWBOY CARTER song “Protector,” which debuted at the No. 42 spot earlier this month.

Only further cementing the power of Beyoncé, Rumi’s recent placing was previously held by her older sister and Bey’s eldest. Blue Ivy Carter, for her feature on Beyoncé, SAINt JHN, and Wizkid’s “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift album in 2019. She was 7 years old at the time.

COWBOY CARTER debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 407,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the March 29-April 4 tracking week. She also becomes the first Black woman to lead Top Country Albums. And when it comes to No. 1 hits, Bey now has the fourth most among women, following Taylor Swift who has 13, Barbra Streisand with 11, and Madonna with 9. Of Beyoncé’s 106 career Hot 100 hits, 61 have reached the top 40; 24 have hit the top 10; and nine have gone to No. 1.
