Ed Sheeran gave one couple an experience they’ll never forget as he crashed their Las Vegas wedding.

A video posted to Sheeran’s socials shows him and a 4-person choir as they surprise Jordan and Carter Lindenfield right before they say “I do,” at the altar of A Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.
Sheeran took the moment to share a new song, “Magical,” from his forthcoming album, Autumn Variations, releasing September 29. “Crashed a wedding, this is Magical x,” he captioned the video.
“We’re still processing what an unforgettable moment this was,” the bride commented on Ed’s video. “Thank you @teddysphotos for truly making our special day magical.”
Making the experience even more memorable, Ed stepped in to sign the couple’s marriage certificate as their official witness. Safe to say Ed’s wedding crashing skills are top notch.
Autumn Variations will be Sheeran’s second album release in six months, and the inspiration behind it stems from his own experiences and stories of his closest friends.
“Last autumn, I found that my friends and I were going through so many life changes,” Sheeran said of the project. “After the heat of the summer, everything either calmed, settled, fell apart, came to a head or imploded.”
He continued, “when I went through a difficult time at the start of last year, writing songs helped me understand my feelings and come to terms with what was going on. And when I learned about my friend’s different situations, I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time. There were highs of falling in love and new friendships among lows of heartbreak, depression, loneliness and confusion.”
Along with sharing the intimate concept and title, Sheeran has also revealed the album’s 14-song track list as well as the album’s cover art, which is filled with small illustrations of things Sheeran associates with the fall season.
