Last night in London, Coldplay fans were treated to a performance of tracks from the band’s brand new album Music of the Spheres, as well as some of their beloved hits, while pop superstar Ed Sheeran joined them on stage for a number of songs.

It all went down on Tuesday night, October 12, at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire to celebrate the imminent release of Coldplay’s ninth studio album arriving on October 15 and they even got to perform a few of each other's hits together on stage.

At one point in the evening, Ed popped out on stage to help Coldplay sing their 2005 hit "Fix You," while Chris Martin his pals returned the favor by strumming along to Sheeran's 2017 single "Shape of You."

Of course, some of the event was captured by fans in attendance, and you can check out some footage here, here, and here.
