Ken Jennings is now the only host of the syndicated version of “Jeopardy!”

His former cohost, Mayim Bialik, posted to her Instagram a statement confirming the news.

“Sony has informed that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of ‘Jeopardy!’” Bialik wrote in the post.

The actor and host went on, writing she was “incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year.” She also was “deeply grateful for the opportunity.”

Both Bialik and Sony left open the possibility for her return to hosting certain “Jeopardy!” special episodes, a representative for the company told EW.

“We made the decision to have one host of the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers, and Ken Jennings will be the sole host for syndicated ‘Jeopardy!,’” the representative said. “We are truly grateful for all of Mayim’s contributions to ‘Jeopardy!’ and we hope to continue to work with her on primetime specials.”

“For all of you who have supported me through this incredible journey and to the fans, contestants, writers, staff and crew of America’s Favorite Quiz Show, thank you,” Bialik ended her statement.

Bialik and Ken Jennings became the show’s permanent hosts in 2022.
