COVID-19 testing begins today (April 20) in the parking lot of the Mohegan Sun Arena. Highland Park Boulevard will close daily for approximately the next 30 days by PennDOT between Mundy Street & the I-81 connector ramp to all traffic from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with the exception of Tractor trailer deliveries to Lord & Taylor, patients of Concentra (NOTE: Concentra does not conduct COVID-19 testing), and those with pre-authorization to the Mohegan Sun Arena parking lot.
Detailed information pertaining to the closure is as follows:No travel will be permitted onto Highland Park Boulevard from Mundy Street. Additionally no travel will be permitted from Highland Park Boulevard onto Mundy Street. Access to Highland Park Boulevard (the Arena or Concentra) MUST be made via I-81 Exit 168.No travel will be permitted Northbound (from Walmart towards the Arena) on Highland Park Boulevard beyond the I-81 connector ramp. Access to the Arena or Concentra MUST be made via I-81 Exit 168. Vehicles leaving Concentra or the Arena marquee MUST travel Southbound (from the Arena towards the I-81 connector ramp) and then will ONLY be permitted to turn left onto the I-81 connector ramp. Southbound travel (towards Walmart) will NOT be permitted for those on Highland Park Boulevard. Vehicles that utilize Exit 168 (I-81 Connector Ramp) will ONLY be permitted to turn right onto Highland Park Boulevard at the end of the ramp if they have pre-authorization for testing at theArena, Lord & Taylor Deliveries, or Concentra patient access. NO access to Mundy Street will be possible.
No access to the Arena will be possible via the Mundy Street Connector Road, vehicles must utilize Exit 168 to access the arena
