Geisinger confirmed the first three presumptive positive cases for coronavirus Tuesday.  Geisinger experts ask that people who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 or if they have cough, fever, or shortness of breath, should call their primary care doctor’s office or Geisinger’s 24/7 hotline at 570-284-3657 .

Be smart & and important part of our community & practice SOCIAL DISTANCING. Don’t congregate in groups of 10 or more.  Wash your hands…frequently.

State Liquor Stores closed last night.

Essential businesses like grocery stores, gas stations, drug stores, pet stores, auto repair shops remain open.

Non-essential businesses like gyms, movie theatres, hair & nail salons, bars, golf courses remain closed.

Meals on Wheels will continue to serve Senior Citizens.

Effective immediately, the Saint Francis of Assisi Kitchen in Scranton will provide only one meal per day between 11 a.m. and 12 noon.  Meals will be distributed outside of the building in take-out containers. Drinks and soups will not be provided. Evening meals are suspended until further notice.

Target announced that stores across the country will take measures to ensure elderly customers and those with underlying health conditions have access to stocked shelves.

Starting TODAY, the first hour of shopping every Wednesday will be reserved for “vulnerable guests,”.Target stores will also be closing early, at 9 p.m. local time, so employees can clean and restock the stores.

Dollar General is strongly encouraging that the first hour of operations each day be dedicated solely for the shopping needs of senior customers.  That went into effect yesterday.
