Today we received 22 dogs from a hoarding situation after their owner passed away. The dogs are in rough shape, completely covered in fleas. They are all extremely sweet and have allowed us to groom them and handle them all without issues. It was clear their owner loved them based on their temperaments, but she did not have the means or help to properly care for them.The dogs range from 8 weeks old to a few years in age (all estimates). None of them have any veterinarian work, which means we have to provide everything (which we do for any animal who needs it - but 22 at one time is quite a bit of dogs). It costs roughly $500+ per dog for us to vet them, depending on the dog’s age and health status. The female adults all require ultrasounds as well, so their bills will be higher.If you can, please donate towards their vet care! Any amount is appreciated!
