In a truly amazing sports story from the weekend, 42 yr old Zamboni driver Dave Ayres, emergency goaltender for the Carolina Hurricanes, got called into the game after both of the team's regular goalies were injured. Ayres got the win for his team plus $500...and they let him keep his jersey!
