Rock's Blog: Saying Goodbye to Cairo

RIP my friend
Cairo closeup

It's the most difficult part when you adopt a senior dog...saying goodbye. Saturday morning Sue & I had to let Cairo go. He was our first experience with a Min Pin. What an awesome breed...and such a loving dog.

Thanks for being a part of our family these past 5 years Cairo. We'll always remember the way you would spin with excitement when it was dinner time...your snaggle tooth...and the love you gave us.

Below are a few of my favorite photos of our guy Cairo.

Rest well my friend.

So affectionate.

Beautiful Cairo at Harveys Lake. Ears up!

Cairo with his life vest

In the last 2 years of his life Cairo developed Diabetes & was almost totally blind. But he carried on. And we hooked him up with this life vest in case he fell in the water...which he did!
