Rock's Blog: Help an Old Forge Family in Need!

Helping hands

PLEASE do what you can to HELP an area family in need!

The Old Forge Police Department and the Old Forge Fire Department will be holding a clothing & fund for the fire victims from Monday’s fire which involved a Mom and three young children, 10-month-old twin girls and a 6yr old daughter. One of the 10-month girls also underwent open heart surgery last Tuesday at CHOP. Any help you can offer during this family’s difficult time is appreciated as they made it safely out of their house with only the clothes on their backs.

As you can imagine with young children the family needs everything from bottles, diapers, clothes, to adult clothing and bedding. Any items you can spare will go a long way in helping them get back on their feet.

Donations can be dropped off at the Eagle McClure Hose Company located at 375 Milwaukee Ave. in the Borough of Old Forge side entrance starting tonight at 4pm until approx. noon on Christmas Eve when we would like to deliver everything to the family.

Sizes are as follows:
10-Month-old twin girls currently in 12-month clothing
6-year-old girl
Shoes size 1
Clothes 7-8

Mom
Clothing Women's Large/X-Large
Women Shoes 10

If someone is going to give a monetary donation they can be dropped off at Eagle McCLure from 4-10pm on Wednesday and Thursday Evening to Chief Stull.

THANK YOU in advance for whatever you can do!
