Kathy--On email. COWARDS
Mike--Guy went to give his two week notice Manger said no get out now and walked him out the building and then another manager went to guys desk with a box and packed up his stuff and took it outside to give to him
Lela--Ours was 5p.m. on Friday's if your name came across the PA and you were called into the office mgr. you knew you were going.
Every Friday sucked. That's why I worked M-Thur and Friday off haha
Hanna--At one of my old jobs, management would call them into the private office while team leads would clear out their desk for them, and then walk them out of the building.
Leece--huge sexual harassment scandal/investigation between our gm and EVERY female employee. corporate was called in to conduct interviews. every female who was interviewed and 1 male witness was mysteriously never put back on the schedule, "pending the results of the investigation"
Tina--Big hospital system, no heart... someone from HR would show up on the department, with security, grab their victim, most often someone who worked there 25-40+ years, took them down, fired them, then escorted them to the front door like they were hardened criminals.
They couldn’t revisit the department or say goodbye to anyone. This went on for days and weeks
Hanna--I found out I was going to be unemployed via social media. Ambulance Company I worked for sent a letter to the local hospital and news station stating that operations would cease on a certain date by a certain time. Didn't even bother to tell the employees....we found out once the news released the info.
Kathryn--Slowly but surely my hours would get diminished.
Then they stopped putting me on schedule all together . i was like alrighty then.
Patti--Got a text message saying ‘the locks have been changed, the security code has been changed. Don’t ask any questions, I’m not replying.’ had no idea I was doing that bad of a job. . Oh and I was banned from the place.
Erica--Administration at a previous employer (very large healthcare system in the area) was cutting positions. They wouldn’t give notice.
They would just show up with security at your desk and escort you out. Every time you would hear someone walking towards your desk you were worried it was your turn to be walked out!
Michael--I remember IT shutting a guy's access off Friday morning... Ahead of management giving the guy the bad news. Oops.
Melissa--Getting called by HR right as your about to go to lunch and being told your position all of a sudden was being "Discontinued " .... biggest BS lie you can make
