When it comes to being a celebrity, fans will notice everything.
In March, Emily Ratajkowski welcomed her son Sylvester Apollo. Now, she is facing her first-ever experience with social media users mom-shaming her.
The 30-year-old started the controversy when she posted several photos of herself holding her son while on vacation.
“Bday eve with the dream vacation partner,” she wrote in the caption of a post that showed the star’s svelte physique in a bikini while she held her son.
However, fans had something to say about the pictures.
Piers Morgan, who has been in the news for criticizing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, shared one of the photos on Twitter. He captioned the post that read, “That’s not how you hold a baby @emrata — and your millions of followers shouldn’t be encouraged to do the same. Happy to give you some tips if you need them.”
Many users in the comments of the tweet also criticized Ratajkowski.
One user wrote, “It’s like an icon for today. Look at meeeeee. Not the newborn babe, meeeee, it’s all bout meeeee and just you wait for my book on parenting whilst avoiding food.”
Another said, “All she’s worried about is showing her body off. Holding the baby like a bag of inconvenience.”
Since posting the picture, Ratajkowski has not responded to the comments, but has since then posted other photos.
