LOS ANGELES (KNX) – James Corden is leaving late (late) night in 2023.
The host of the “The Late Late Show” extended his contact with CBS for one more year, according to Deadline.

He told the outlet that leaving the show was “a hard decision.”
“I’m so immensely proud of the show. I’m thrilled to be extending [for a year],” he said.“I always thought I’d do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on. I’ve really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure.”
Corden’s tenure on the show began in 2015. The show became infamous for its various segments, including “Carpool Karaoke” and “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.”
