Kate Winslet says fans recognize her from not one, but two projects before "Titanic."
Appearing recently on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Winslet chatted about some of the large roles throughout her career.
"People come up to me in the streets more about 'The Holiday' and the episode of 'Extras' that I did than 'Titanic'," she told the host.
The actor said she especially gets "The Holiday" around a certain time of year.
"Especially at Christmas, and what's so lovely is that mothers and daughters come up to me in the grocery store and they say, 'OK, we just love 'The Holiday.' It's our little ritual at Christmas,'" she said. "That's something I never would have expected, this sort of mother-daughter connection around a film like that. It's so nice. It's lovely."
"The Holiday" was released in 2006 and along with Winslet, starred Jack Black, Cameron Diaz, and Judle Law.
In 1997, Winslet starred in "Titanic" with Leonardo DiCaprio and it is the fourth highest grossing movie of all time.
