New restaurants are always looking to find the missing piece from the eating experience. For one new eatery in DFW, they think adding a Ferris wheel is what will take their dining to another level. Truck Yard recently announced they will be adding a new location in DFW, with this one’s main feature being a Ferris wheel.
The new truck yard will be located off interstate 35 in Fort Worth at the Alliance Town Center. Along with the Ferris wheel, the indoor/outdoor eatery will also feature hand-painted murals, Western-style décor, a game area for adults and kids, and a dedicated dog park. “Truck Yard not only expands our dining and entertainment options at Alliance Town Center but also brings a laid-back atmosphere directly to the heart of Alliance Texas. Unlike anything currently available in Tarrant County, the Ferris wheel, live music setup, ample gaming options and beer hall vibes up the ‘fun factor’ for every guest,” said senior vice president of retail for Alliance Texas developer Hillwood, Mark Miller.
According to Dallas Morning News, the 2 acre project is expected to be open this fall. For Texans; eating on the patio is normal, but eating on a Ferris wheel is definitely new.
