This is a scene straight out of Home Alone, where Kevin McCalister hides in a Nativity scene in an attempt to avoid the Wet Bandits.
At least Kevin had the wherewithal to put on a clock and grab a walking stick to completely blend in.
A 38-year-old man running from the cops in the small town of Galatone tried to blend in with a live Nativity scene, posing as a wise man.
He didn’t think to grab a shawl or anything, though. He was just standing there amongst the mannequins in his regular clothes.
He almost got away with it, too!
The police didn’t notice him, and he was only caught the town's mayor noticed movement out the corner of his eye!
According to Metro, the man was fleeing police after a conviction of assault. He is now behind bars serving his nine-month sentence.
