Dallas TikTok creator invites celebs to his wedding hoping to get gifts

It's actually pretty genius.

A Dallas content creator who goes by JVT is going viral (again) for his brilliant idea to invite celebrities to his upcoming wedding. As tradition goes, if you can't attend a couple's ceremony, it's customary to still send them a gift.

JVT knows that most billionaires aren't going to be able to attend a random wedding, but he's mailing actual invitations with a handwritten note about "how much fun they had last time they hung out'. It's truly genius because stars meet so many people, they won't remember who this dude is, but they also don't want to be rude. So instead, they'll just ask their assistant to send their regrets and order something off the registry.

JVT has mailed requests to Jerry Jones, Mark Cuban, T-Pain, Rainn Wilson, Zach Galifianakis, and even local taco shops. He keeps people updated on his progress and has started going after some bigger fish like Justin Bieber, Ryan Reynolds, Johnny Depp, Eminem, and Elon Musk.

This man is on fire, and he's even upped the ante. He's selling his wedding as an NFT. Those who have become obsessed with his journey (hand raised) can own a piece of the action. Items like digital beer, his "v-card", and the invitation of course are all up-for-grabs.

The nuptials take place on June 4th, and the groom-to-be said he's already received some responses. He promises to keep us updated on Friday. I've got my champagne ready.
