Mark Cuban interviews Dale Hansen on his 40-yr career at WFAA

The longtime sports anchor is retiring on September 2nd.

A few months ago, DFW media legend Dale Hansen announced his plans for retirement. The WFAA sports anchor spent 40 years of his illustrious career right here in the metroplex. He's known for his booming voice, his no-holds-barred opinions, and his longevity in market #5.

Just about everyone who's had the pleasure of meeting Hansen has a story to tell, and the local ABC affiliate has been a platform for those as they count down his final days. On Sunday, the boisterous newsman was interviewed by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. The duo shared laughter and memories and allowed us along for the ride.
