There’s a growing holiday trend spreading on social media where people are place “nude” Christmas trees in their home.
They’re Christmas trees with maybe some lights strung around them, otherwise they are completely absent of ornaments, tinsel, or any other accoutrements.
This minimalist approach to Christmas is being championed by celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Victoria Beckham.
According to FOX News, people who love the nude Christmas tree say it's supposed to be "elegant, peaceful, streamlined, and stress-free,” though detractors say it looks unfinished, joyless, and maybe a little intimidating.
