I mean, she's not wrong.

Things are starting to get hairy after recent policy changes regarding Roe vs. Wade. The issue came to a head last month when a Plano woman was pulled over on 75 for driving in the HOV lane without an adult passenger.

Brandy Bottone was passing a checkpoint that was targeting single-occupant vehicles. The officer who approached her car said she was violating the law because she was alone in the car. Bottone pointed out that she's currently pregnant, and with the government recognizing unborn fetuses as humans, she technically had another person with her.

The policeman issued her a $275 citation for the offense. According to NBCDFW, Texas penal code recognizes an unborn child as a person, but the state's transportation code doesn’t.

A conundrum indeed. Bottone plans to fight the ticket in court. The hearing is set for July 20th which coincides with her due date.
