One of the most uncomfortable ordeals most people must endure is getting their wisdom teeth pulled.  Thank goodness for the advancements in medicine that allow patients to be sedated to where almost no pain is felt.

At least during the procedure that is.

"The Pioneer Woman" Ree Drummond felt everything though, as she had to get one of her wisdom teeth pulled over the holidays and she did so without sedation!

Per PEOPLE, Drummond posted on her Instagram story that getting her tooth pulled without sedation made her feel "alive" and "elated," and that it reminded her of her "one natural childbirth."
