Take out drinks are already a thing in Texas after the pandemic hit bar and restaurant sales, and now some Texas lawmakers are hoping to expand alcohol sales even more.
Texas State House Representative Richard Raymond wants Texans to be be able to buy liquor on 7 days a week.
Raymond has filed House Bill 937, which would strike down the states Prohibition-era ban on distilled spirits on Sundays.
The bill would also extend the hours you can buy liquor, to Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 10pm and on Sundays from noon to 10pm.
The only states that still have sales bans on Sundays are Alabama, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, South Carolilna, Texas and Utah.
