You'd think that with a net worth of $167 billion he could do better than this, but Elon Musk isn't your ordinary multi-billionaire.
Musk recently revealed that he owns just one house out in California, which he uses mainly for entertaining.
As for day-to-day living, it depends on where he is. But when Musk is at his Space-X launch facility in south Texas he's now living in one of those "tiny houses" with just four hundred square feet. And he doesn't even own it. He's renting it.
It's described as a "foldable, pre-fabricated home" made by a company called Boxabl, and it's just 20-by-20 feet, about the size of a boxing ring.
Then again it does have a full bath, and a poster of a Space-X Falcon 9 rocket on the front door.
