Two brand new H-E-B stores are coming to North Texas.
Today in Frisco, a groundbreaking celebration is marking the start of construction on one of the San Antonio retailer’s new locations.
Tomorrow, a separate groundbreaking ceremony is taking place in Plano to celebrate a new store there. The company says it will support the local community by making surprise donations to nonprofits in each city.

The events will each feature speakers as well as H-E-B's branded hot air balloon, 13-foot tall motorized grocery cart, and the Creamy Creations ice cream truck.
Both ceremonies are closed to the public.
