Ryan Reynolds has to answer to an adamant New York City police officer now that fellow actor Hugh Jackman has elevated his brilliant idea to social media.

In an ongoing "feud" between Reynolds and Jackman, the two are constantly making digs at each other publicly in interviews and online. Now, there's a new dig that could be enough to send Reynolds into a tailspin.

Sharing a video from police officer John Dobkowski, Jackman took to Twitter to offer up some "career advice" for Reynolds, who stars as the titular character in the "Deadpool" movies.

In the video, Dobkowski can be heard saying, "Hey Ryan, you've got to get this guy [Hugh Jackman] in 'Deadpool 3.' Even if it's for a 10-minute cameo, that would be awesome. That movie would be so cool, so great, it would blow the box office."

Jackman shared the video, writing, "Officer Dobkowski is doling out incredibly smart career advice for @VancityReynolds. Sharing is caring."

The officer finished off the video by joking that he would give Reynolds a ticket the next time he was in New York City if he failed to put Jackman in the films.

At the time of writing, Reynolds has yet to respond to Jackman's call-out.

Famously, the two have been teasing each other for years with Jackman even claiming a potential sense of bitterness in Reynolds when Jackman was nominated for an Emmy for his role in "Bad Education."

"I don't think he's going to get out of bed for three days," Jackman said in an Associated Press interview.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Deadpool 3" is currently still in development.
