Kelly Ripa is not interested in listening to negative comments.
In a recent family photo she posted on her Instagram, the 50-year-old responded to some peculiar criticism she received.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, had to postpone their family vacation. However, they recently all went on a trip with their extended family to celebrate the 2020 graduations in their family.
“Last year’s graduation trip for our oldest son and niece was delayed long enough to become a graduation trip for the family newborns as well! 🇮🇹🇬🇷“Ripa captioned the group photos.
While some fans pointed out the exciting celebrations, others seemed to keep staring at Ripa’s feet.
One of the photos shows Ripa standing on one foot, while the other appears to be missing, leading to a slew of confused commenters.
One commenter asked, “The picture looks awesome, where’s your other foot, Kelly?”
Another added, “This is crazy but where are your feet?”
According to Entertainment Tonight, Ripa then responded to the comments by posting an Instagram Story video.
“Maybe I’m just jet-lagged, but can you explain to me why people are fixated on my feet in a family photo?” Ripa asks Consuelos in the video.
“It looks like you’re missing a leg,” her husband then says.
Ripa replies, “Well, obviously I’m not because there it is in the other photos. Could it be that I just crossed one foot over the other?”
After talking about the picture, Ripa said the commenters were “weirdos” and let her fans know that she indeed has two feet.
“Sorry you all have to see this,” Ripa said.
