Avril Lavigne took to Instagram to show off her skating skills on a beautiful picturesque halfpipe with the ocean nestled in the background. Adorned in pink slippers and a dress, Lavigne rode a green and black checkered skateboard in impressive fashion.
That is, until everything went wrong.
“Hope this makes you laugh as hard as it’s made my friends and I laugh all week,” she captioned her Instagram post.
Lavigne took a spill as she was skateboarding, but shook it off like it was truly no big deal. “That’s what I get for sk8ing in my slippers and dress,” she added.

On the music side of things, Avril certainly has a reason to smile as she revealed her seventh studio album is “done” and promised it’s “coming soon. For sure summer.”
It looks like Avril will be leaning back into her roots as producer and Goldfinger frontman John Feldmann added that the two are working on a sound that will take fans back to the glory days of 2000s pop-punk.
