PLANO (1080 KRLD)- This is a sweet story out of Plano where the video of a school resource officer has gone viral -- for helping a momma and her ducklings.
Police say it started when some students at Plano Senior High told the officer they saw the mom and babies in a neighborhood and were concerned.
The ducklings seemed tired so the officer and school nurse rounded them up. The mama duck followed as they took the ducklings back to the school pond - and they were reunited.
In the post - police thank the kids, school nurse and School Resource officer for taking time out of their day to make sure the animals were safe. So far the video has gotten more than four thousand shares, and hundreds of comments.
